3D printed Hurdy Gurdy prototype v2 - melody strings only I left the protoype with 3 strings under tension, for a while, in various states of warming and cooling, to see how it would behave. Recorded using D violin strings (0.53mm) tuned to E. Some setup work and design adjustments to the top plate are still required but I am much happier with the sound now on Yonnex ... A quick demo of my latest build - low octave D tuning alto length luteback which has recorded directly from my pocket amp via line in the instructions
